Common Questions
Is FinPlann free to use?
Yes. All 30 financial calculators, the expense tracker, and multi-currency support are free with no sign-up required. The Pro plan (starting at ₹199/month) unlocks the full financial planner with goal tracking, FIRE planning, AI action plans, FinChat, and PDF report exports. Cancel anytime.
Do you provide personalised financial advice?
No. FinPlann is a self-service planning platform. We provide tools and educational content to help you make informed decisions. We are not SEBI-registered advisors. For personalised advice, consult a qualified financial advisor.
How is my data stored and protected?
Your financial data is encrypted and stored on secure PostgreSQL servers. We do not share, sell, or monetise your data. You can export or permanently delete your account at any time. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I use FinPlann from outside India?
Absolutely. The expense tracker supports 8 currencies with live exchange rates. Most calculators use percentage-based inputs that work regardless of currency. Some tools like tax regime comparison are India-specific, but SIP, FIRE, retirement, and loan calculators work for any country.

How do I delete my account?
Go to your Profile page and scroll to the bottom. Click "Delete Account" and confirm. This permanently removes all your data. If you have a Pro subscription, deletion does not trigger a refund — please contact us first.
